Message from the President

1In 1953, our company started as a repair shop for pumps, valves, and fluid device components used in oil refinery plants. The former president took over the business and declared that a new era of manufacturing was coming instead of repairs, and so he introduced a new machine tool for the first time in our country. The new machine tool had five axes to machine parts that had been worked with many processes in only one process. The epoch-making machine realized a low cost, quick finishing process that resulted in dramatic growth for our company.
Our company considers mutual profitability with the customer a growth strategy.
I would like to assume the policy of reading the trend of the times to stay one step ahead of others in the introduction of advanced machinery and in the way of thinking.

We constructed the Yasuda Factory ten years ago and equipped the facility with modern equipment when we received an order for a dialyzing pump. That effort was a good start since the factory has been running well ever since. The awareness that we manufacture products that support human life is reflected in the honest working attitudes of our employees. The pleasure of being able to see a product that we created serve the world is rewarding to our engineers and technicians.
The medical device market is stable, but not being satisfied with that, we made the decision to go into the aeronautical industry.
We constructed a new Karuigawa Factory and obtained JIS Q 9100 certification, which is mandatory for the aeronautical industry, together with the Yasuda Factory. Company activities in the aeronautical industry, which started from zero, is gradually building business results. Certification of the quality management system under JIS Q 9100 is difficult to obtain and maintain, but this permitted us to enter a new field as a new enterprise.

Our company owns vacuum pump manufacturing technology based on a patented screw rotor manufacturing method developed under a co-research project with Tohoku University. Furthermore, we offer an in-house start-to-finish production environment from procurement of material to manufacturing, machining, and assembly.

The dream of Iizuka & Co., Ltd., is to release our in-house brand of products into the market making use of these resources.
Japan is a manufacturing-oriented country and offers remarkable quality to the world; consequently, we are not afraid to fail but will tackle new challenges in the spirit of an enhanced company under the slogan "Challenge/Enthusiasm/Service" as aspiring engineers for manufacturing industries.
